Dear, lovely, readers! Hello! Yes FigureSkatingAdvice.com is still being maintained, even though it hasn't been updated in a while. If you are a "Fan" of the FigureSkatingAdvice Facebook page, you'll know that I decided to stop blogging for a little while when my family got some hard news relating to illness this summer. And taking some time off from both this and social media in general has been nourishing, and let me concentrate on the basics over the past few months. It was a good thing. It still is.
However, I have been checking in regularly to my blog maintenance site to check out my visit stats and make sure everything still looks and feels as it should. I'm so thrilled to say that you lovely readers seem to still visit the blog, and hopefully some new followers have discovered it recently too. It's a truly great feeling to see something I've worked so hard on for years become a real resource for skaters all over the world!
I'm not going to commit to coming back to a regular blogging schedule now, but I'd be lying if I said that the fact that visits have continued to rise hasn't given me a warm feeling inside, a desire to create more new content for all you skating people around the globe! So, I am going to try and write a new post over the coming weekend/week, and hopefully you guys will be around to check it out.
While I take more time to concentrate on being with my family and getting through my senior year at college (senior year?! OMG where did that go?!), I truly hope that FigureSkatingAdvice continues to be a resource and source of inspiration and help to all who read it.
