*VIDEO* How To Tape Your Figure Skates

Today's post is such an exciting one for me because I have finally branched out into the wonderful world of vlogging! I've recorded two videos so far: one teeny tiny introductory video of myself (click here to see it), and this one, describing how to tape your figure skates for protection during training. This will help to keep your boots looking their best for as long as possible.
I've written about preserving your skates before, but having received a message asking for photos of this method on the FigureSkatingAdvice Facebook page, and having received my shiny new HD webcam in the post that very week... well the rest, as they say, is history. Here goes, hope you like it (it's really weird seeing myself on film...)!

Hopefully this was useful to you! It seemed to go down well on the Facebook page, so please remember to come and say "Hi" over on the social network if you're signed up and feel so inclined. If there's anything else you'd like me to vlog about, then let me know and I'll do my very best to oblige!

Until next time, tape those boots up!
Gigi

  1. Hello, thanks for the video! I was just wondering if the tape leaves a residue on the boot and how often will you need to change the tape?
